CHICAGO, JUNE 30, 2025 – Edgewater Talent (www.edgewatertalent.com) announces the appointment of Andrew Van Ella, a highly accomplished and results-driven New Business executive with over two decades of extensive experience at the vanguard of the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition sectors.

Andrew's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from the outset of his career, when he took over Van Ella, Inc. As a pioneering force, he innovated talent solutions by delivering crucial corporate intelligence, comprehensive information services, and expert employment screening services. Andrew’s leadership extended to playing a pivotal role in cross-marketing initiatives and globally overseeing the corporate sales team, with a specialized focus on ensuring seamless post-acquisition client transition and retention following the company's successful acquisition in 2007.
His career trajectory continued in 2014 when Andrew joined Groupon's National Sales Team as a Senior Sales Executive for National Brands. In this role, he was instrumental in establishing and meticulously building an entirely new business segment from the ground up, a strategic initiative that directly contributed to an astounding over 1,000% growth in annual sales. This remarkable achievement cemented his reputation as a visionary leader capable of scaling new ventures quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, his leadership prowess was demonstrated through managing high-performing teams for the country's top three background screening firms, reinforcing his deep operational understanding of the talent solutions ecosystem.
Andrew has successfully captured and meticulously managed a diverse portfolio of national accounts throughout his distinguished career, collaborating with and delivering value to some of the world's most recognized brands. His impressive client roster includes industry leaders such as Hilton Worldwide, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Apple, Northwestern Mutual, and Intel, underscoring his capability to navigate complex corporate environments and secure high-value engagements.
Andrew earned his B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of Arizona and completed his Executive MBA at the University of Nevada.
